MA-EC Gallery is participating this year in The Others , an art fair that has reached its thirteenth edition . The Others is a revolutionary project, born with the aim of intercepting the language of the new generations and valorizing emerging realities.

Under the artistic direction of Lorenzo Bruni , it is configured as an experimental exhibition that presents the most innovative national and international artistic expressions. An independent fair that has been hosted since the beginning in unconventional locations. This year, over 50 galleries are expected in the new headquarters, ILO, International Training Centre, a center that boasts decades of experience in the field of learning and training, in addition to collaboration with the United Nations system and other institutes of excellence around the world.

The project proposed by MA-EC Gallery at Stand 29 sees four artists in dialogue: Horst Beyer , Qian Wu , Xunmu Wu , and Ma Cong . Different in origin, training, artistic path, they have in common a predilection for abstract art and trace a story that leads to our contemporaneity, imbued with light, color, harmony. An exhibition itinerary that winds through the pictorial design with electric cables of Horst Beyer, the large geometric canvases of Qian Wu, up to the works of Xunmu Wu who, after the success achieved with the solo exhibition at the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno in Florence last August, presents for the first time in Turin a selection of works ranging from the large triptych on canvas to small formats on slate and paper, exemplifying his ability to master different techniques. Breaking the mold, the playful work of the well-known designer Ma Cong, who with his colorful and bright works winks at the masters of the past (Munch, Mondrian). An eclectic artist and designer, winner of the Red Dot Award among others, he enchanted Milan at the Fuorisalone 2024 with the exhibition All is well-Guess who I am?, a public success that follows the major exhibition at the Triennale in 2018.
